SCHOFIELD, Wisconsin (September 12, 2017) – At a ceremony in Tulsa September 7, representatives from the Greenheck Group, the city of Tulsa, the State of Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation were on hand for the groundbreaking for Greenheck Group’s new Tulsa campus.
The first phase of construction will begin in October with expected completion dates in mid-2018 for initial facilities that will serve as a manufacturing and distribution center for Greenheck Group’s Accurex brand of commercial kitchen ventilation products and its Greenheck Tempered Air Products (TAP) division. The initial space will be roughly 200,000 square feet with a plan to add buildings as growth needs dictate.
“Breaking ground is an important milestone and the first step to becoming an integral part of the Tulsa business community and better serving a growing roster of customers across the country and abroad,” said Jim McIntyre, President and CEO of Greenheck Group.
McIntyre noted in his remarks at the groundbreaking that Tulsa’s central location, its robust and growing business community, and ready access to a smart, talented workforce, made the decision to expand into Tulsa an easy one.
Tulsa-based Cyntergy is the architect for the project with Choate Construction serving as the construction partner.
Greenheck Group’s new presence in Tulsa is expected to create 75 jobs in 2018 with that number expected to significantly rise as the vision for the location becomes a reality over the next five years. Greenheck Group announced their decision to build a new campus in Tulsa in August after exploring several options in the region.
